Ella's Portrait Session in Suffolk

The last session in April we photographed was a Portrait session taken in Suffolk of baby Ella.

This was another session that came about through me having had the pleasure of photographing Sarah and Paul's (Ella's parents) Wedding we photographed back in 2006 at Stoke-By-Nayland Golf club, Suffolk.

When baby Ella arrived back in February they said I was the first person that they thought of when they decided they wanted some baby photos of her taken. I'm very pleased that they got in touch as it was a privilege and a joy to photograph them and Ella.

Ella is another beautiful little girl that I've got to work with recently. She was so well behaved and delightful to photograph. Here's a small peek at her photos. I adore these photos and am pleased that Sarah and Paul also love them!

She's just learning how to smile - how cute ....

Most baby session's require a little time out to rest ....

.... to blow bubbles at me .....

.... and most importantly, to sleep as it's very tiring work being the centre of attention!

Congratulations - Wedding Photography, Suffolk

Just a quick note as the next Wedding we photographed in April have asked (for personal reasons) to be kept anonymous which we fully understand and respect.

I always write up weddings on here (and I know that they read this) so I just wanted to congratulate them both and thank them for the kind comments about their photos.

We are pleased that you are happy with the images and that we got to share in such a wonderful day. We wish you and your families much happiness and look forward to hearing from you soon regarding your final selection.

If you attended this wedding you'll have to ask the couple to see their photos!

Bryan & Georgie's Wedding Photographed @ Butley Priory, Near Woodbridge, Suffolk

The next Wedding we photographed at Butley Priory was Bryan and Georgie's day.

They too had a small and intimate wedding with close family. Their getting ready and ceremony took place at Butley Priory in Suffolk which is a gorgeous venue with ample opportunities for photos. Here's the groom and bestman before everyone arrived!

Georgie had her sweet little niece as the only bridesmaid and she looks adorable in the photos. Here's some of the girls getting ready

Before coming into the ceremony Georgie and her niece had to come down the fab stairs at Butley. Here's a couple of those photos.

For smaller weddings we give couples the choice as to whether they want just me or two of us. I'd discussed this with Bryan and Georgie and they opted for the both of us in the hope that we would both be allowed to take photos during the ceremony. Thankfully, the registrars were very nice to us and did allow us both to take photos so we have the images from both the back and the front for them. Here are just a few taken during the ceremony.

Then they had a drinks and canapes reception and as we had a little bit of time I got to wander around the building and grounds with them. Again we were lucky with the weather and we were able to do all their group photos outside (not bad for an April wedding!)

Here's a mix of photos taken of the two of them (I loved so many I think I could have put all their images on here!)

I love this high contrast one of Georgie
The bedroom where Georgie got ready had wonderful windows which we used later for photos of just her and the two of them

I love these couple of vintage ones - I think this effect works really well with the Gothic feel to the building

Whilst I was outside with the two of them David took this lovely one through the leaded window!

If you attended Bryan and Georgie's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now. They have the password which I'm sure they won't mind sharing.

This was another thoroughly enjoyable day for us - we really had a great time working with Bryan, Georgie and their families and wish them a lifetime of happiness together. Thanks for the e-mail letting me know how much you loved the images.

When I have a little more time I'll write up all the April testimonials! I look forward to hearing from you both soon regarding your final selection

Angie & Richie's Wedding - Suffolk Wedding Photography

The first Wedding we photographed at The Red Herring, Oulton Broad was that of Angie and Richie's which was a wonderful day.

They had a small and intimate wedding with close family. They got ready at Carlton Colville, followed by the ceremony at Lowestoft Registry Office and the reception at The Red Herring, Oulton Broad. We were blessed with fantastic weather and although we were only with them a short time we really enjoyed sharing in their day. As we had such gorgeous weather it did mean that we had the opportunity to take all the group shots in Nicholas Everitt Park (which is opposite the Red Herring) and we got some fab photos of them all there.

Enough of all my chitter-chatter as I know that you really just all want to have a peep at their photos so here's a small selection

I love this high contrast photo of Angie just before she was ready to leave for the ceremony

Here's the bridesmaids and pageboys looking out the window at the groom, bestman and other guests before we left

For their transport they had hired a large limo so all the bridesmaids and others could travel with them. Here's one of Angie and her dad arriving

After the ceremony we only took a few photos outside the registry office as the backdrop's not so great (compared to the Park where we photographed later) and so we just did the confetti here before they left

Here's one of Angie looking beautiful in the park

And here's a sweet couple of photos taken of the two of them

As we had such strong sunlight I thought it may be fun to do some work with shadows again and I love the way this one turned out

The pageboy was very good (despite not enjoying having his photo taken) although I think the Starburst that the bride had bought with her may have had some influence! Here's him sneakily having one when he thought no one was looking

At the reception venue there was a good fire escape for me to climb up to get this different angle as Angie had commented on how much she liked one taken from above that's in one of my portfolio albums

When I saw this sign on the wall at the Red Herring I couldn't resist asking Angie to stand in front of it for me - how often do I get an opportunity like this without having to use any photoshop tweaking!

Here's just a sweet holding hand shot that I love with one of the new borders I've been making recently

Lastly, here's a photo of her bouquet - I love the vintage effect which is just one of many new effects I'm working on with photos this year (all very exciting)!
If you attended Angie and Richie's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now. They have the password which I'm sure they won't mind sharing.

We loved working with Angie and Richie and are pleased that they are so happy with their photos. I look forward to meeting up with them soon to design their photobook.
