Thanks to all who saw us over the weekend - if you didn't we're out and about again this week!

Just a quick thank you to all of you who turned out in the cold weather and came and saw us at the EDP Wedding Exhibition yesterday and Saturday. We had a great two days and the EDP registered 3,423 people which is a whopping number! We had a lot of interest on the day especially for 2011 which we are currently booking up so please get in touch soon if you are planning a summer 2011 wedding as these dates tend to go first.

If you didn't manage to see us we are out again this coming Sunday (28th) at The Suffolk Wedding Show, Wherstead Park.

As I've said before it's always lovely to see lots of people so if you get the chance to pop in and see me (past, current or potential future couples) that would be fab. I'll have all the beautiful books and gorgeous albums with me for you to look at and will try my best to answer any questions you may have.

Here's further details of the show:

Sunday 28th February - The Suffolk Wedding Show, Wherstead Park, Wherstead - 11am-3.30pm
This show looks to be brilliant again this year and is one that we very much enjoy exhibiting at. This year the venue has changed from Ipswich School to Wherstead Park which is very exciting and it is again run in conjunction with Heart Radio. It is the fourth year for me exhibiting here but with over 60 exhibitors it should be a good day. For further details of the show and who will be there please have a look at their website: www.thesuffolkweddingshow.co.uk.

The Wedding of Gemma and Ben, Hintlesham Hall

A few days later we photographed our second December Wedding which was Gemma and Ben's and took place at Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk.

Again, we were fortunate that it was very wintery although a lot of the snow had turned to ice which caused a few slips and slides throughout the day. Still it was lovely to photograph a winter wedding in such wintery weather. This wedding took place only a couple of days before Christmas and again was very magical.

Here's a selection of photos from their day starting with Ben, the Ushers and pageboys before Gemma arrived at the Church

Here's Gemma arriving and coming into the ceremony with her dad.

The vicar was really kind to us and let David shoot from the back of the church whilst I stood at the front with them.   Here's a mix taken during the ceremony

We managed to take most of the groups outside and a few of just the two of them before it started to rain so we went on to Hintlesham to get everyone in the warm

Here's a selection of the two of them at Hintlesham that I adore starting with one in a new effect

Here's a selection taken during the speeches

and a few of them dancing - the lighting with the glitterball was gorgeous

If you attended Gemma and Ben's Wedding and would like to view their photos they are online now. They have the password which I'm sure they'll share with you!

After seeing their photos Gemma sent me the following e-mail:

'Hi Hayley,

Just to let you know we received the proof book today! We are so pleased with the photos. They capture the day perfectly. We love the ones outside Hintlesham with the Xmas trees. The images are even more lovely in the proof book than when viewing them online and we love the detail images that we had not seen before. Its going to be very hard choosing the images for our album as we love so many of them! Thank you again.

Our family have viewed the photos as well and everyone has complimented on them.

Thank you both for your work on the day.

Kind Regards

Gemma'

Thanks for letting me know Gemma and I'm glad you're pleased with them. I too love the ones outside Hintlesham Hall at dusk with the Christmas trees. We very much enjoyed sharing in your day and wish you both a lifetime of happiness together. I look forward to meeting up with you soon to design your beautiful album

The Wedding of Emma and Gary, Caistor Hall

What a treat for us at the end of last year when we got to photograph two weddings in the December snow.

The first Wedding which we photographed was Emma and Gary at Caistor Hall, Norwich.

I think a lot of people who book winter weddings secretly hope for snow (I know I do when I book winter weddings in the diary) and the weather certainly didn't diappoint. The fact that their wedding was less than a week before Christmas meant that the festive spirit was high despite the traffic chaos caused by the snow!

Thankfully their entire Wedding day was at Caistor so once everyone had arrived their was no need to move between venues.

This was one of the most beautiful and magical weddings we have photographed and Emma and Gary were thankfully very trusting in us and willing to go out into the snow (together with their guests which we really appreciate as I know it was freezing!) to capture some stunning images

Here's a selection of photos from their day starting with the boys in the snow

Here's some of Emma getting ready

Here are her beautiful shoes followed by a photo of Emma's wellies used to walk round outside

Here's Emma coming down the stairs with her dad, followed by them walking around to the ceremony in the snow which I adore and then her and her dad coming into the ceremony

A few taken in the ceremony and they had the confetti indoors as they walked back down the aisle

Here's the bridal party walking in the snow

And a small selection of their photos

A few taken during the speeches, inside Caistor Hall, the cake and the outside of the hall at night

If you attended Emma and Gary's Wedding and would like to view their photos they are online now. They have the password which I'm sure they'll share with you!

After seeing their photos Emma sent me the following e-mail:

'Hi Hayley,

The pictures are amazing, we couldn't have asked for anything more! I can't believe how lucky we were to get the snow and the pictures look wonderful and wintery, even though it was freezing cold! I really love the ones of Gary and I out under the pagoda with the sun setting.

Thank you sincerely to you and David for your patience with us on the day as the snow made everything slightly stressful! We can't wait to get the proof book now and start putting together the album.

You both helped us have a wonderful day and now we have these lovely pictures to help us remember it even more!

Hope to speak to you soon

What a wonderful bunch of people to work with and all so happy considering I had sent them out into the cold for photos - I hope you all think it was worth it when you see the photos! Thanks Emma for writing to us with the above comments. I look forward to seeing you both soon to design your album with you and your proof book was sent at the beginning of the week so hopefully will be with you now. You've been a great couple to work with and we hope that you have a very long and happy marriage.
