Pre-wedding shoot with Ben and Alanna at Haughley Park Barn Bluebell Woods

Here's just a snippet of some photos taken from Ben and Alanna's pre-wedding shoot up at Haughley Bluebell woods.  I love these photos and can't wait to photograph you both again at your Wedding at Haughley Park Barn in August

The Wedding of Tessa and Tristan @ Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk

We had a mixed bag of weather for our next shoot which was Tessa and Tristan's wedding which took place at Woolpit Church followed by their reception at Haughley Park Barn. There were some heavy showers mixed with some glorious breaks of sunshine throughout their day - we took advantage of the breaks in the weather and all in all everyone appeared to have a wonderful day. Tessa (and helpers) spent a long time decorating Haughley Park Barn and I think their effort really paid off as this is the prettiest I have ever seen the barn look

Here's a selection from their day starting with Tessa getting ready and the boys down the pub

I love this one of the church with a vintage effect - the flowers were just stunning
Here's Tessa and the bridesmaids arriving together with some in the ceremony - we were very lucky that the vicar let me stand at the front whilst David took some from the back - I always think it's lovely if we are allowed to take photos during the ceremony and that they are really special images to the couple afterwards

Here's some of the two of them taken in one of the breaks in the showers at Haughley Park Barn

The barn looked beautiful - here are a few of those photos - on the back of everyone's chair they also had horseshoes from actual race horses and after dinner they had organised a sack race with those drawn out of a bag to take part - this was great fun and enjoyed by all.

Each persons place also had a herb and their wooden initial on their napkin for them to take home which was a lovely touch

Here's a couple of them dancing

If you attended Tessa and Tristan's Wedding and would like to view their photos they are now online and they have the password which I'm sure they'll share.

A couple of days after their wedding Tessa's dad (Barry) kindly sent us the following e-mail which I'm sure he won't mind me sharing:

'Hi Hayley,

Just a quick note to thank you so very much for the sensitive way in which you managed the whole process at Tessa's wedding on the 19th. Amanda and I were very impressed with the way in which you and your partner interacted with the guests and I'm sure Tessa and Tristan will also let you know how pleased they were when they return from honeymoon. Please let me know how we can access the photos on your site, when you can - inevitably we are all waiting in great anticipation of the results.

Thank you again,

Barry & Amanda Charnley'

Tessa also sent us a gorgeous thank you card which reads:

'To Dear Hayley and David,

Just a little note to say a massive thank you for our beautiful weddings photos, we are thrilled with them. So many lovely ones, it's going to be so hard to chose. As well as the ones of us I love that you took some lovely ones of our parents and other members of the family. Thank you also for being so wonderful on the day, it was a pleasure to have you both around! Also amazing advice on timing - looks like it was a beautiful summer day - not the coldest weekend June has ever seen!

Wonderful to have such lovely memories, we will treasure them always

With love

Tris and Tess'

Tessa and Tristan are a fantastic couple who we hope will have a very happy marriage - I love their images so much that I am hoping to use them in a new sample album online (watch this space everyone)

The Wedding of Lynsey & Andrew photographed @ Haughley Park Barn, Suffolk

The last wedding we photographed in December was on New Years Eve and this was Lynsey and Andrew's Wedding which took place at Haughley Park Barn in Suffolk.

It was a cold and wintery day so the group shots and encouraging people outside was a little harder than usual! The day started with Lynsey getting ready. They were running slightly behind in terms of time and I love this one of the hair stylist and make-up artist both working at the same time

Here's some of Andrew before the ceremony looking very calm and relaxed followed by some photos of Lynsey arriving and entering with her dad

We got to work with the fantastic Stowmarket Registrars again who are fab to work with and usually allow us to shot from the front and back of the room which creates a lovely variety in the ceremony photographs. Here's a selection of them.

Obviously at this time of year the light fades fast and so most of their photos were taken at Dusk and guests mingling inside. Here's a few group shots

I love these ones as they are so atmospheric. Here's a small selection for you to look at

They had decided to do the cake cutting and speeches before the meal which we stayed for (as we were due to leave when they sat to eat) and here are a couple of photos from this part of the day

If you attended Lynsey and Andrew's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now.

This was a lovely wedding to end the year on with a lovely couple and some great family and friends. I am looking forward to seeing Lynsey and Andrew tomorrow to design their album with them
