Essex Wedding Photography - The Wedding of Katy and Jim, Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club

The next wedding we photographed was Katy and Jim's day which all took place at Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club in Essex. We had a wonderful time sharing in their celebrations and this is the first time ever for us when we've had a really sunny day at Stoke-by-Nayland so it was nice to see the grounds in all their glory and lovely that all their guests could have their drinks on the terrace. Here's a selection from their day starting with the boys:

Katy's flowers were gorgeous - I love the smaller white roses mixed with the larger coloured ones

Here's Jim waiting for Katy to come in.  The registrars were really kind to us as usual and let me photograph from the front and David from the back of the room so we could get a really lovely selection

Straight after the ceremony we went down in the golf buggys to the lake to take some photos of Jim and Katy on their own

A friend of Katy's made the cake and did a wonderful job as it looked fantastic (and I'm sure it tasted just as good as well)



Outside their main room there was a little balcony I took them on for a couple of photos

The speeches were done before they ate and we photographed these before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their evening

Here's a lovely large group shot of everyone - I much prefer doing these aerially (where possible) rather than in a long line as you can see everyone so much clearer

Katy and Jim are a gorgeous couple who were a pleasure to work with. We are sure they will have a very happy future ahead of them and we hope that they'll stay in touch with their future news.

The Wedding of Debbie & Anthony photographed @ Stoke-By-Nayland Golf Club, Essex

The next shoot for us was that of Debbie and Anthony's. Their entire Wedding which we photographed at Stoke-By-Nayland Golf Club where we had a brilliant time.

The weather for their day was not so good but it didn't dampen the atmosphere at all (no pun intended). They had very dark clouds and rain throughout the day and evening. It did make for some wonderful photographs of the two of them by the lake though - very dramatic!

Again we were lucky to be allowed at the front and the back during the ceremony which gives great coverage and a lovely lot of different angles and viewpoints

Afterwards there was a very short break in the rain where we ran outside and did the confetti!

Just before dinner we ventured out again as we wanted to get some photos outside regardless of the weather. The rain didn't look like it was going to stop (hence the brolly in the first shot below!) but then the clouds suddenly parted and we had a brief spell without any rain so we were lucky to be able to take all the group shots outside

Debbie was a very lucky girl indeed in that she had a gorgeous pair of Jimmy Choo's. She really wanted them to be in the photos so here's just a couple of close-up's for all of you who read these and love shoes to have a look at!
