Norfolk Portrait Photography - A portrait session with Rachael, Matt and Aubrey

In between my weddings I managed to squeeze in a Portrait Session with Rachael and Matt and their gorgeous daughter Aubrey. For those of you who read this blog regularly you may remember that I photographed Rachael and Matt's Wedding at Elms Barn a few years ago. It was so lovely to catch up with them both and to meet Aubrey who is the most contented, happy and care-free little girl I've meant in a while. It was also wonderful that she was so accepting of the camera and smiled all the time!

Here's a tiny collection of their images for you to peep at:

Such a beautiful little girl

Here's Aubrey running some of the way to the beach

The beach is one of Aubrey's favourite places to go to and as it's only a 5 minute walk from Rachael and Matt's house it was the perfect place to go and take some photos

Aubrey loved looking at the donkeys ..... this is the first time she's had a ride on one though and she absolutely loved it as the big grin on her face shows

I thought I'd have a go at an old fashioned poster style and I love it

Tommy the donkey ... you were lovely

Ahhhh ..... so cute

Rachael also sent me the following lovely e-mail after seeing the photos which I really appreciate and hope she won't mind me sharing:

'Oh Hayley Hayley Hayley, I am close to tears our photo book is so so beautiful! I can't even begin to thank you enough, the photos are just immense you really capture so much in each photo...thank you thank you thank you...we are going to have a proper sit down and decide which ones we want to order, so will be in touch really soon x x thank you again from the bottom of our hearts x '

Thank you Rachael and Matt for choosing me to come and photograph Aubrey and I look forward to seeing you all again in the future when baby number two arrives (Rachael was a few weeks pregnant during our session but thankfully felt well!).

Norfolk Portrait Photography - A portrait session with Eva

Recently I had the privilege of photographing the most wonderful lady called Eva at a Portrait Session in Norfolk. This was to celebrate Eva's up-and-coming 83rd birthday.

Eva was so full of life, energetic and fun to be around. If she hadn't have told me her age I would never have guessed. I can only hope that I am as sprightly as her when I get to that age.

We had a thoroughly enjoyable session and here are some of her photos for you to have a look at

I hope that our paths will cross again Eva and that you have had a fantastic time with your grandchildren who were coming over from New Zealand to visit you.

Suffolk Portrait Photographer - Portrait Session for Lewis

In April I also photographed a Portrait session in Suffolk of baby Lewis and his family.

For those of you who read the blog regularly you may remember that we had the pleasure of photographing  Sarah and Paul's Wedding back in 2006 at Stoke-By-Nayland Golf club, Suffolk and since then we also photographed their first baby (Ella) in a session in Suffolk back in 2009 so it was a privilege to go back and meet with them again in Suffolk to photograph the newest member of their family, baby Lewis.

Lewis is a gorgeous little boy with a mesmerising smile.  Sarah and Paul knew that he wasn't at his best for our session as he's usually always happy but kept crying and wanting to sleep during our session (later Sarah told me he was diagnosed with an ear infection which is why he was a little grumpy poor little boy but thankfully is better now).  Still we got a lot of lovely photos and Ella's grown into a beautiful little girl who was a pleasure to photograph. Here's a small peek at there photos:

Here's Ella and her grandma

Ella didn't want to sit still for long but I did get some of her and Lewis together

I love this photo of Sarah gently rocking Lewis to sleep

Meanwhile, Ella was busy having fun with grandad ....

and fun with daddy ....

Then we went in for a little quiet time whilst Lewis had a nap

By now Ella was tired as well - but grandma had a chocolate trick up her sleeve to get Ella to have a few more photos with Lewis before I left

and the reward was a chocolate bunny!

last one for the blog .... it's so sweet when they start learning to smile

Thanks for letting me share in your special moments Sarah and Paul.  I look forward to photographing you all again at some point in the future
