Our next August wedding was Alice and Chris'
day which took place at Bury St Edmunds Cathedral followed by their wedding reception at Haughley Park Barn. We had glorious sunshine all day and had a wonderful time. Here are a small selection of their photos starting with Alice getting ready at her parents house:
David started at the Cathedral with the boys and the guests arriving
The Olympics has inspired many of us .... this makes me smile
Alice looked incredibly beautiful - I love the style of her dress
Chris looked very handsome and was as relaxed as Alice
Straight after the ceremony we went into the cloisters to take a few photos whilst the guests prepared outside to throw confetti
Then on to Haughley Park Barn for their reception where the glorious sunshine meant that we could all enjoy the gardens to the full

Alice's mum made the cake and it was beautiful - this is the first time in a while that we've seen a six-tiered cake!
After dinner we went for a brief wander to the kitchen garden for just a few more photos of the two of them - I love all their photos but particularly like these ones
In the evening there was a nature trail and face-painting
It's always wonderful when lots of guests join in the dancing!

Alice and Chris are a very sweet, kind, fun and relaxed couple who were a pleasure to work with. Their friends and family were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We wish Alice and Chris a lifetime of happiness together and are certain that they'll have a very long and happy marriage.
