Both the bridesmaids had the same style dress but just in different colours - this is the first time we've seen this and it looked fantastic
Jenny looked so beautiful and had a beaming smile on her face all day
I loved the lavendar in her bouquet as it smelt incredible
As Chris is from America and came over to study here (where he met Jenny) sadly not all his family could come over for the wedding. Jenny's nephew Harvey therefore stepped in as Bestman for the day and here he is below helping Chris with his tie
Chris' parents came over from America and were lovely. I just could listen to their accents all day
Jenny and Chris put a lot of time and effort into all the smaller details which made this wedding a feast for the eyes. In the church each window had a different display that was relevant to them which was a unique finishing touch
I love this photo of Chris looking so relaxed and handsome before Jenny came in
Unfortunately, this wedding was one of the few we've had this year where the vicar point blank refused to let us take any photos during the ceremony which I think is a real shame as they're always lovely photos and help to bring back memories for the couple after their day is done
Once the service was over (and because we didn't have photos in the church earlier) I took Jenny and Chris back into the church for some just of the two of them
Jenny's dad (Ray) had given them a pretty pink heart umbrella just in case of rain but it was so lovely that despite not having any rain we thought we'd use it anyway in the photos and I'm pleased we did
It was a short walk to the Community Centre from the church
What a brilliant seating plan and what a well travelled couple
On each of the tables there were bundles of books. After the speeches they announced that there was a book on the table for each of the guests with an inscription to them. This is another first that we've seen and a very personal favour that just shows what a thoughtful couple Jenny and Chris are
As Jenny and Chris are both bookworms their friend had made them a very appropriate wedding cake
Another friend had made some pretty cupcakes
What a gorgeous end to a perfect day with a sunset like this
If you attended Jenny and Chris' Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now, there is a password but I'm sure they'll be happy to share it with you.
After viewing their images both Jenny and her mum sent us the following e-mails which I'm sure they won't mind me sharing:
'Dear Hayley and David,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! WE LOVE OUR WEDDING PICTURES. They were really all we could have asked for and you captured all the small details that were so important to us and we'd worked so hard to include. In one way the day feels like such a long time ago but your wedding images just brought us straight back to it. It was lovely for us each to see the bits we'd missed (like each other getting ready) and you got some fantastic shots of Harvey who can be a monkey! In fact, you got some lovely shots of us all! Wow! You will get a proper thank you but I think we are still processing it all.
With best wishes - and many thanks,
Jenny and Chris Sutton'
'Dear Hayley & David,
WOW WOW WOW! So many beautiful photographs and so much attention to detail, thank you. We had a truly wonderful day and you two were so much a part of that. Photographs are very important to us as well as to Chris & Jen and you took pictures of all the things that we would have photographed ourselves.
I am sure you offer the same to all your couples but I certainly felt so much more relaxed knowing you and David personally, it felt as though friends were doing the photography and as I am sure you are aware so many friends did help to make the day so special. I fear that Ray's photo book is going to be very large as there are so many pictures to choose from!! A BIG thank you once again to you both.
Kind regards
Susan & Ray'
Jenny and Chris are such a relaxed and sweet couple that we're certain they've got many happy married years ahead of them. We love their images so much and are sad their day's now gone but hope that they'll stay in touch and that our paths will cross again in the future.
