The Wedding of Lu and Kris @ Glemham Hall, Suffolk

Our first October Wedding was Lu and Kris' day which took place at Glemham Hall in Suffolk. This is the first time we've had the pleasure of photographing at Glemham Hall and it is a stunning venue with gorgeous grounds for photographs. There is a church on site and my only slight gripe was that the vicar was very strict on photos and where he would permit me to stand. On the plus side though he did allow us to take photos as some weddings we've photographed we are completely denied which is always a shame. We were blessed with the weather being warm and sunny so their guests could enjoy being in the gorgeous gardens for their drinks reception.

I was allowed to photograph the actual signing (which is quite rare) but then the vicar did something that has never happened to us before - he moved Lu and Kris back to the front of the aisle ready for them to leave as soon as they had signed so that I could not take a posed photo from a better position of the signing (even though I had discussed this with the vicar beforehand and he had said it was ok) - oh well, at least I got some!

Back at Glemham Hall, we went for a wander around the grounds which were amazing

In the evening I popped Lu and Kris outdoors again to stand under some trees and twinkly lights which I think looked really magical

Lu and Kris are a wonderful couple. It was a pleasure to share in their day with them and their guests were very welcoming to us. We are certain that Lu and Kris will have a long and happy marriage ahead of them and we hope that our paths will cross again in the future.
