This was the first weekend in October and although the weather was freezing we were very lucky to not have rain to contend with.

The ceremony took place in the church on Braxted Estate which was lovely. Here's some photos taken before and during the ceremony.

They had the most unusual London White taxi as their transport and I travelled with them after the ceremony as they wanted to take their photos on the way back. I love this one taken as we were travelling back to the reception

Braxted have a step area where you can do a great group shot

As guests were getting a little bit parky in the gardens they decided to move indoors for most of the group shots and drinks. Here's one of them taken in the gardens
As favours on the table everyone had a scratchcard. Sheryl and Andy had bought a special 'fake' card for the bestman which was guaranteed to win him £10,000. We knew this was going to happen and they wanted photos of it so we kept a close eye on Ollie (the bestman). It was almost too bad to watch as he scratched his card and then subtly put it back in his pocket without saying a word to anyone. Sheryl and Andy then asked if anyone had won and there were a few small amounts round the room. Eventually Ollie took his card out excitedly only to be told that it was a joke - here's the series of photos.
Braxted Park is beautiful in the evening. The speeches and dancing were great and here's a few of those.
I also got the chance to have a wander round the gardens with them. It was very dark with no moonlight. I think it is always a dilemma as to whether to shoot with or without flash. With flash, the subject is frozen. Without flash you keep the atmosphere but it makes the images slightly soft as it results in long exposures where any movement creates blur
If you attended Sheryl and Andy's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now and I am sure they will give you the password to look at them.
As I am so delayed in writing this up - Sheryl and Andy have already completed their package with me and have received all their images on CD. They were a lovely couple to work with and we wish them a very happy future together.
