Having a bottle of water hidden somewhere (at the front of the church or civil venue) is never a bad idea especially on a hot summers day.
Another great idea for those hot, balmy summer weddings is a really pretty fan. We've also seen a different take on this with a couple providing those tiny electric hand held fans to all the guests which went down very well when temperatures were well over 30 degrees!
