Donna and Nick's Wedding photographed at Sandringham Church

For our next wedding we were working with Donna and Nick who had their Wedding ceremony at Sandringham(the first wedding there for two years so we were lucky to photograph here) followed by a marquee reception at Nick's parents house.

It was another glorious autumnal day for their wedding which worked beautifully in their photographs. Here's Donna and her dad about to come into the church

As I'm sure you can imagine the church at Sandringham was incredibly beautiful. A slight drawback however was the very strict rules on what could and couldn't be photographed which was a shame as it meant we were only allowed to take a couple of shots during the service and a verger insisted on standing next to us throughout the service to make sure no others were taken. Here's a couple of photos for those of you who'd like to have a brief look inside the Royal Church!

After the ceremony I went with Nick and Donna to the cottage where Donna had got ready earlier in the day. It had the most stunning gardens you can imagine and we had a little bit of time here to take some photos of just the two of them which was nice. I could have stayed in these gardens much longer but as the guests were back at the marquee waiting for the bride and groom to arrive it was only fair to bring them back with some time to spare

Here's a very small selection of the photos of the two of them

As favours on the tables there were beautiful little homemade jars of chutney and jam (and the children had sweets). They were unusual favours but ones that we thought worked incredibly well and were a little different

This day finished for us with the speeches that were covered just before the meal. Here's just a few of those photos

and here's one of their beautiful cupcakes ...... they also had a main cake which looked equally as stunning

What a wonderful day and what lovely friends and family Donna and Nick have. We wish them a very happy future together and hope they'll stay in touch. I look forward to seeing them next week to go over their album designs with them.

If you attended Donna and Nick's Wedding and would like to view their wedding photos they are online now. They have the password which I'm sure they'll share if you want to have a peep at them.
