When Katie arrived it was spitting with rain a tiny bit so just to be on the safe side we lent them one of our giant white umbrellas to keep her dry
This was another wedding where sadly we weren't allowed to take any photos at all during the ceremony (why does every vicar insist on telling us a horror story where a photographer has upset their entire wedding service - I'm starting to think it's just an excuse they give us to justify why they won't allow any photos!). We always shoot without flash during a ceremony, don't move around and don't interfere with any part of the service! I sat down next to the font at the back of the church and again it appears that my camera may have very accidentally taken just a couple of photos!
Katie and Carl really wanted a confetti aisle and this worked really well
They both wanted to do some more fun shots for some of their groups - some of these are my suggestions and some are theirs. They all worked really well for their day though and I personally love these ones
The tiny little flowergirl wouldn't smile at all when Katie held her but I still love this one anyway
Here's a few taken from the shots on their own
Here's some during the speeches - Karl had got a surprise tattoo of Katie's name done the day before that she didn't know about (but thankfully Katie seemed delighted with when it was revealed)
Here's a close up of the tattoo Carl had done (love the funky Calvin Kleins!)
The little flowergirls all had dolls that were made to look like them which was really cute
They also had a candy bar in the evening with sweets for the guests - I love drumsticks so was very impressed with this giant jar of them ... mmmmmmmmmmm
If you attended Katie and Carl's Wedding and would like to view their photos they are now online and they have the password which I'm sure they'll share.
After receiving all their images Katie and Carl kindly sent us a box of chocolates and a thank you card which reads as follows:
'Dear Hayley,
Thank you so much for the wonderful work you done for us for our wedding! Our photos are fantastic! Everyone loves them. We will highly recommend you.
With love
Katie and Carl Neale'
Katie and Carl were a pleasure to work for who we are certain will have a very happy marriage. Their friends and family were all lovely and it was nice to see Amber&Jeremy and Donna who's weddings we had photographed a couple of years ago (both Amber and Donna looked really well and both of them are expecting babies soon which is very exciting!)

It's so annoying when Vicars don't allow photography. It's happened to me on a quite a few occasions and I'm sure they just make up a story too!
A couple of times I have challenged them as to who the photographer was and it was obvious they had made it up.
So annoying!
