The Wedding of Emma and Karl @ The Kings Head Hotel, Great Bircham, Norfolk

Our first wedding in May was Emma and Karl's Wedding which took place at The Kings Head Hotel in Great Bircham, Norfolk. We had the most glorious weather (despite the torrential downpour just before Emma arrived) with mainly vast, blue skies and sunshine and a decent temperature too.

Here's a selection from their day starting with me joining Emma getting ready at her parents house in Downham Market:




I think this is the first time ever that I've seen the main person to get the bride into her dress being her dad - very unusual and also very sweet



What a cute little flowergirl and what a beautiful bride Emma is






Emma (and the bridesmaids and her parents) were all ready and itching to go ages before the wedding so I got to take a whole load of group shots early for them before they left - here's just a couple of them



Karl was pretty nervous before the wedding and didn't want hang around much for his photo to be taken.  After the ceremony though, the nerves dissipated and he was much more relaxed just enjoying their day





Karl looked very handsome, I love the combination of the grey suit with the navy tie

















This is one of the tightest rooms for a ceremony I have ever worked in.  With tall plants either side of the table and both registrars standing just to my right this is the only angle I could take of the bridal party coming in
